Travel Consultant

You will be passionate about being the best and will want to ensure that every client has the perfect holiday experience. You'll offer outstanding customer service and product knowledge, making each client’s experience special. You will be focused on your individual sales targets and those of your team.

Essential Duties:

• In this role, you will have daily involvement in selling holidays to luxury, long haul destinations, building a picture of resorts that delight customers by anticipating and understanding their holiday needs. 
• You will be attentive and confident with customers over the telephone, and be able to quickly build rapport whilst using your knowledge & experience to meet their individual needs.
• You will gain specialist knowledge enabling you to confidently advise on packages and tailor-made holiday experiences with a view to achieving your individual and team’s sales targets. 
• You will be self-motivated and a strong communicator with target-based sales experience. You will feel comfortable working under pressure and have a passion for results and genuine desire to achieve, both personally and as part of a successful team.

Skills Required

Essential

• Sales skills: experience and proven success in selling
• Experience in a customer focused environment
• Experience of Viewdata booking systems
• Computer literacy: at least basic proficiency in the use of PCs, email, the web
• Confident communicator on an individual and group basis with excellent interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic and positive manner
• Passion for Travel
• Team player 

Desirable

• Travel / Retail industry background
• GCSE Math’s & English grade C or above
