A well-established, popular and family-friendly hotel, set within ten acres of tropical gardens.

Situated on spectacular Watamu beach, on the edge of Watamu National Marine Park.

Offers a choice of three restaurants, a snack bar & two bars - one with regular evening entertainment. Leisure facilities include a pool, jacuzzi, children's pool & kids' club (aged 4-12 years) tennis, volleyball & water aerobics. Water sports include F2 windsurfing*, deep-sea fishing*, scuba diving*, catamarans*, snorkelling, boogie boards, kiting, pedaloes, canoeing & kayaking.

145 air-conditioned rooms with private bath/shower, ceiling fan, tea/coffee making facilities, safe* & balcony or patio. Prices based on super club rooms (2 adults and 2 children using fold-away beds) which have partial ocean view. Lamu rooms (2 adults) which are cottage-style units, offer a ceiling fan & some overlook the ocean & ocean front rooms (2 adults and 2 children using fold-away beds) which have direct beach access, are also available.

The Club offers four restaurants. For romance candle-lit dinner by the ocean, try the Blue Turtle restaurant. In the pizza restaurant you will find a tasteful variety that makes dining here uniquely different at our gardens with ponds. Or enjoy a themed dinner by the pool.

Main Restaurant
Full breakfast lunch and dinner offered in the main restaurant by the pool, which seats 300 and has smoking and non-smoking areas overlooking Watamu beach. The meals are buffet style. The restaurant at the poolside has an excellent reputation and all tastes are catered for, including vegetarians.

Pizza Restaurant
The Pizza Restaurant is overlooking the fishponds. Delicious pizza’s, pasta, salad bar and soups makes this restaurant a popular option.

Blue Turtle Restaurant
The Blue Turtle Restaurant, beautifully located on the beach will provide you with a la carte menus at an extra charge. At least once during your stay you should try it out, especially on a moonlit night.
*Reservation required. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
* Unaccompanied children are welcome to join the children’s dinner at 6.30pm in the main restaurant.

Dresscode
T-shirts, Vest, cut-off shorts and swim wear with a wrap are accepted during the day but we do not allow any of these during the night in our restaurants. Smart tailored shorts, trousers, slacks, short-sleeve shirts, polo shirts, skirts, dresses, shoes or sandals are accepted in the Blue Turtle, the main restaurant and pizza garden for dinner. Shorts are not accepted in the Blue Turtle in the evening. When wearing swimming costumes at lunch, please cover from shoulder to knee with either a wrap, long T-shirt or sundress when eating in the dining room. Please use a wrap for hygiene reasons during lunch.

MEALS & SNACKS: Breakfast, lunch & dinner - all buffet style in main restaurant or the pizzeria for lunch & dinner. Daytime & midnight snacks. Guests are entitled to eat once at Blue Turtle restaurant, with additional reservations at a charge.
DRINKS: Local wines, South African wines, beers, spirits & soft drinks.
WATER SPORTS: Basic & intermediate windsurfing and catamarans (first lesson chargeable). Introductory scuba diving lesson in the pool.

Please note that from May-August scuba diving is only available inside the marine park and the beaches at Watamu are subject to seaweed and tidal variances from May to September. Gentlemen are required to wear long trousers & a tailored shirt for dinner at the Blue Turtle Restaurant.
