Beach Villas
Rangalifinolu Island is home to 79 of the country’s most luxurious and spacious Beach Villas, designed in 2005 by Thai architect Lek Bunnang to provide the ultimate in outdoor living perfectly harmonised with contemporary Maldivian style.
Glass walled living areas open onto private gardens with secluded tropical open-air bathrooms, fountain filled courtyards and a thatched bath pavillion, featuring an outside bath tub with romantic mood lighting. In all 35 Beach Villas (150m), a private sun deck provides direct access to the beach, whilst all 44 spacious Deluxe Beach Villas (300m) include a large secluded garden and private plunge pool, just steps from the beachfront.

21 luxurious Spa Water Villas with private treatment room, sundeck and terrace, offer total seclusion for Spa Retreat guests. The spacious wooden interiors and open-air styling are designed to enhance the benefits of The Spa Retreat’s wellbeing programmes.
Water Villas
Rangali Island offers a superb choice of 50 award-winning villas in 5 different categories, all set on stilts over the lagoon. Wooden exteriors house contemporary and stylish furnishings that evoke the best of the tropics. A newly introduced ‘Island Host’ service ensures guests a tailor-made dream holiday.
28 Water Villas (74m) boast ocean view baths and private sun terraces with steps into the lagoon, whilst 12 newly refurbished Superior Water Villas offer indulgent extras such as a private Jacuzzi on the terrace and a surround sound theatre system.
Six Deluxe Water Villas (115m) offer a further taste of luxury with a huge outdoor Jacuzzi, romantic four-poster bed and spacious living areas creating the perfect retreat. And for design lovers, two Premier Water Villas feature a host of high-tech gadgets including a second Jacuzzi in the bathroom complete with built-in-TV.
The ultimate in island luxury is however found in the two stunning Sunset Water Villas, set in their own private area of the lagoon and reached by jetboat or private walkway. Glass floored living rooms provide stunning views of the marine life below, whilst a circular bed rotates 180 degrees to view the breathtaking sunsets.

This is the first resort in the Maldives with both a destination spa and the only resort in the Maldives to have two spas, each with its own product range and philosophy.

Diving
The resort’s dive centre, managed by Sub Aqua, offers diving for all levels; from Discovery Dives and PADI courses to guided excursions. South Ari Atoll is renowned for its aquatic life just moments from the resort and a 10 minute journey onboard the resort’s luxury boat transports guests to the Maldives’ premier dive spot, Manta Point.
Rangali Water Sports
Adrenalin junkies can try their hands at wind surfing, kite surfing, catamaran sailing, jet skiing, water skiing, parasailing banana rides, knee boarding, wake boarding and snorkelling.
